User Reviews

After immediately buying the game after it was posted on the incremental games subreddit, and spending maybe an hour playing, I started to feel like it was heavily inspired by Grind Forever. Then I realized it was the same dev! This game feels like it has as much or more complexity, but it is better paced so that it’s not all thrown at you too quickly. The prior game made me feel like Augustus Gloop jumping in the chocolate river. This one feels like an overflowing bowl of Halloween candy. I am enjoying bits and pieces while I wait for the trick or treaters, but I’ll have half the bowl all to myself tomorrow and to enjoy until Christmas. As an iPhone haver and incremental game fan, this one is a gem. How often are pay-once incrementals unique, seemingly balanced for long-term play, and longer than 3 hours? Almost never. We get a buffet of Node Buster clones on Steam and p2w addiction simulators on the App Store. If you came here from incremental_games and you like longer grinds, just buy it. This is our once every 1-2 years game we get to enjoy without risking bankruptcy via IAP. My only complaints I’m currently looking past: 1) Screen extends a bit too far past the phone notch. Would be nice to have a setting to adjust playable area border. 2) I wish it was in portrait so I could play it discreetly. It’s a nice trade off getting to have the menus open and being able to see the action in landscape, but still. 3) Touch controls could use a tweak with responsiveness. Takes a couple tries for my thumb to hit some buttons just right.
