So sick of “free” apps that are not up front about no free trial period. Manipulative waste of human time to make us jump through hoops and then pressing start sends you to payment page. Sucks. That’s 10 mins I won’t get back. You owe me. You cant even try this app without signing up. And they are not up front an pi t it.

onboarding asks several unskippable questions to gather user info and then has the gall to immediately ask for payment information

I bought this app and paid the insanely high subscription cost just to have a metronome in my ear when I run. Great, fine, not happy but I did it. But now they dropped an update and it requires you to share your location with the app to function any more. No way around it. I’m sorry but I don’t want my location shared with some company I don’t know just to hear a metronome. Good luck with your app in the future. Update: the developer responded and said that they released an update to allow the user to select metronome only mode. I appreciate their response and app update and have since updated my rating. Thank you dev for listening to your users. That is rare in this day and age.
