User Reviews

Users widely praise Freeme for its easy, bite-sized sessions and strong education, brain retraining, and meditation content that many feel improve symptoms and functioning. The AI-guided, adaptive approach is also a common plus. However, multiple reviews criticize marketing that claims a root-cause solution, warn that redirecting thoughts about symptoms may hinder pacing or be unsafe for some, and note that results are not guaranteed and may lack solid scientific backing.
Pros
  • Easy to use with bite-sized, short and actionable sessions.
  • Strong educational content plus brain retraining exercises and meditations.
  • Positive impact on symptoms and daily functioning for many users.
  • Personalization and AI support that helps with guided learning and follow-through.
  • Helpful coping tool that complements traditional treatment and supports nervous system regulation.
Cons
  • Marketing claims about the root cause and nervous system regulation can be misleading or viewed as unethical.
  • Emphasis on redirecting thoughts about symptoms may hinder accurate symptom monitoring and pacing, potentially harmful for some users.
  • Not a guaranteed cure; effectiveness varies and some users report little or no improvement.
  • Perceived lack of robust scientific backing for the root-cause claims or overall approach.
Recent reviews
The team behind FreeMe understands both their audience and the tools that are most helpful. Small, bite-sized lessons, meditations and trainings that really get at the heart of what’s going on for someone who has CFS. This app is so much more accessible than other brain-retraining programs out there, especially if you have brain fog. Looking forward to seeing how they develop the app over time.

Freeme has given me hope and helped me get out of CFS. After a short period I have regained significant function and capacity back within my life that has garnered comment from my poise and family about how much more productive and active I am. I’m not 100% yet but I have hope that it’s attainable

I’ve been meaning to leave a review for a while but have been too tired to write one as comprehensive as I would like to, so I’m leaving a more brief one for now and hopefully can come back to make it more thorough later. I have had had ME/CFS, which is what this app is designed to help treat, as well as a functional neurological disorder, for about 6 and a half years. In the last year I had to stop school and work altogether because the fatigue had become so severe, so I was really hunting around for every option I could find. I came across FreeMe and Chris through Raelan Agle, who’s another great resource, and thought it would totally be worth the shot, especially because it’s absolutely affordable for what it is. I am pursuing traditional treatment options thru healthcare, but wait times + referrals, etc. are very long, so I wanted something that would give me guidance and direction plus something to work on while I was waiting months to see doctors. It’s been about six months since I downloaded it, and I do feel it’s been one of the most helpful, if not the most, helpful thing I’ve done in my pursuit of recovery/treatment. For the record, I’m not, like, cured, or anything, but I actually feel like it is possible to eventually completely recover. I’m too tired to go into any more detail about the app itself at the moment, but if you feel like this might be something helpful for you, I 100% recommend giving it a shot.
