User Reviews
Pros
- AI coach interactions are helpful and smart, with simple conversations and customizable drill-sergeant options.
- Significant reduction in screen time and social media usage for many users.
- One of the few screen-time blockers that genuinely helps users; strong design and UX.
- Helps form broader healthy habits beyond screen time (e.g., less late-night takeout, more family time).
- For some users, the paid plan is considered worth the cost due to the value it provides.
Cons
- High price and subscription model is repeatedly criticized as overpriced and not clearly free.
- Reliability issues and blocking limitations (daily check-ins required; limits can stop working; freezes/unusable).
- AI model can be outdated or not robust enough for complex contexts.
- Free trial/marketing is perceived as predatory or misleading; app is not truly free.
- Blocking options are limited (e.g., only a single block) and background support is missing.

Purchased for $50 and it does nothing at all. You have to open the app every time you want it to lock anything. Defeats the entire purpose. Once the phone is in my hands, I want to use it; if I had the willpower to manually block apps everyday without using them, I’d just set the phone down and wouldn’t need this in the first place. The app says I have a 128 day streak with 0 distracting minutes, yet my phone time is still averaging 10+ hours/day. I’ve had better success with the iOS built in function. Don’t waste your money.

Found this app mentioned on a Reddit post. I downloaded it to try it out cause I struggle with honoring my screen time and do really well whenever I use AI coaching. I loved the idea that I didn’t have to go to the app myself, that I could actually be redirected FROM my distraction app to talk to the AI coach. Cause think about it like this, when you’ve decided you want to do something against better judgment, do you go ask someone if you should or do you just go to do it and hope no one gets in your way? Lol. I love how simple the conversations are too, I don’t have to filter through a revolutionary and reflective conversation. It asks all the necessary questions. I just wish it would stop asking me to pay.

Waste of money and time. Not worth it when there are so many other free options out there and they are asking $100 a year. Not to mention the app doesn’t work and AI agent will just straight up fail. Garbage app and a scam. Stay far away from
