User Reviews

Players praise Endless Wander for its striking visuals, addictive combat, and engaging story with a unique elemental system. The core loop and enemy variety shine, but reviews repeatedly flag heavy ads, repetitive content, and limited accessibility (no controller support). Technical hiccups and content gating also detract from the experience. Overall, the game has strong core gameplay but pacing, monetization, and accessibility issues hinder its long-term appeal.
Pros
  • Striking visuals and art style
  • Addictive, smooth combat with a satisfying loop
  • Engaging story with a unique elemental/skill system
  • Good variety of enemies and well-animated combat
Cons
  • Ads-heavy monetization with frequent ads and locked rewards
  • Repetitive gameplay and a general lack of new content or chapters
  • Lack of controller support / no gamepad compatibility
  • Technical issues and occasional bugs (startup freezes, performance hiccups)
  • Progression gating in fracture mode and chapters that lock content behind certain progress

Look, the concept and idea of this game is nice. But it’s quietly employing psychological manipulation to get you to pay up on small amounts that add up quickly. It’s designed to frustrate; what people assume are bugs or glitches are intentional game design choices to make you feel “weak.” The game grind is unrewarding because it’s supposed to be; frustration leads to a higher chance that you’ll make an impulse purchase to power up so you can push through a difficult point. Balance issues are a major issue though, there is one gameplay meta and that is range and speed. Just buy the archer if you’re going to spend and only invest in them. Slow characters are going to be more difficult to do well with; you think they’re fine until you actually play the ranged character that is fast. It’s a night and day difference in quality of life. That said, this game has a relic / pet system and that is where the main gacha is. Your pets / relics are paramount to your power level and to get the best you’ll need to spend. It’d be great to get a game that didn’t try to bankrupt you every time you want to play it. Eventually you just won’t logon. And these and other devs wonder why the games industry is dying. You’re the problem. Not the players.

Honestly enjoying this title a lot! Ads are avoidable, but can be used for bonus items and currency. All characters can be unlocked by playing without paying; love seeing this. Screen can get a little cluttered during fights without clear distinction of what are your runes triggering or the enemy attacks. Not a detractor, but would be great if the game had controller support!
