Hello! Awake is an app designed to help cultivate mindful presence. It helps interrupt the habitual stream of thoughts several times a day, creating space for awareness.

You can create a set of messages that you would like to receive from yourself throughout the day. These reminders will be accompanied by notifications and a gentle sound of your choice. Specify the start and end time of your day, the number of reminders, and your preferred notification sound.

Awake is more than just reminders. It’s a complete system that includes several useful sections:

— In the mindfulness index section, you answer special questions daily to track your level of awareness.

— A space with customizable ambient music helps you relax and reflect — new sessions will be added in the future.

— The “Trees” section is a tool for inner transformation that helps you build healthy habits and move toward your goals.

— If you practice lucid dreaming, you can keep a dream journal directly in the app. For privacy, it can be password-protected.

First off, I’m diagnosed with severe anxiety & depression as well as being on medication for about 2 years now. I’m on and off with therapy, but that has changed since I’ve downloaded this app. I’ve had this for maybe a few weeks? And I absolutely love it. It’s exactly what I NEED to pull myself out of “work mode” which doesn’t help my anxiety. It makes me wanna be better. I can send myself reminders to snap me out of my head which happens too many times in one day. I can write my dreams down and since I’ve downloaded this app- my creative dreams have come back. There’s something about this app that comforts me. It’s not complicated, it’s simple yet effective. I recommend anyone struggling to give this a try, a GENUINE try, like I did.
