User Reviews

Users praise Arro for helping build credit and offering educational tools, with examples of score improvements. However, reviews repeatedly note app instability, identity/bank verification problems, and cards being locked, which disrupt usage. Customer support is commonly limited to email and can be slow, and several users report confusing or unexpected fees. Overall, Arro shows potential for education and credit growth but struggles with reliability and support.
Pros
  • Helps build or rebuild credit with potential credit line increases over time.
  • Educational features and reminders help users learn credit management.
  • Can improve credit scores (e.g., some users report scores rising from the 584s to 707).
  • Responsive live support to unlock a card when it’s accidentally locked.
Cons
  • Frequent app crashes and unstable performance hindering use.
  • Card can be locked or deemed risky, making it unusable and hard to access funds.
  • Identity verification and bank-linking often fail or are unclear about requirements.
  • Limited customer support options (no live phone support; mostly email) and slow responses.
  • Billing concerns including monthly subscription fees and unexpected or incorrect charges.

I’m finding it difficult to want to keep my account. The app constantly crashes, making debit card payments still takes days to process and make funds available, promises of increase and when you complete the task, they do not honor the agreements. I seriously feel like I’m going to have to take actions against the company’s deceptive practices because they are doing nothing to fix these issues.

You honestly just have to try it. It’s an unsecured credit card, it starts you off with a limit based on your current credit score, BUT it gives you so many opportunities to increase your limit. Arro has little quizzes and videos, and goals that you can complete and it increases your limit. I started off with Arro about 2 months ago, and I believe my limit was $100 to begin with. Well, it’s already at $425 and I STILL have more opportunities to increase. Just pay attention to the dates that your next quiz is available so you can receive the increase, and stay on top of completing the goals (they’re very easy goals) and you’re set. I find myself using this card more than my Atlas, Capital One, or Discover IT card.
