Please fix the unnecessary permissions required to use the app. There is no reason that the xr-1 dashcam needs unlimited access to photo album. 1. Apple provides a write-only permission level called Add Photos Only (the .addOnly authorization in PhotoKit) designed for exactly this use case: apps that save media but never read it. Chigee simply didn't implement it. 2. Even under Limited Access, iOS still allows apps to add new photos and videos without restriction — the limit only applies to reading. So saving XR-1 footage would work fine technically. The app is checking its authorization status and refusing to proceed unless it sees "full access," which is a gate Chigee coded in, not something iOS requires for saving.

This app is a piece of garbage. It won’t connect. It requires you to take every single piece of privacy off your Wi-Fi in order for it to possibly connect and then it barely.
