User Reviews

Most reviews are negative, citing frequent crashes, unstable Bluetooth, and poor data handling (logs and mileage). Privacy concerns and intrusive background location tracking plus login requirements compound frustration, while many riders want essential features (CarPlay/Android Auto, gas gauge, on-screen data). A small number note brief improvements in Bluetooth in a recent update and say the app sometimes works, but stability remains a major hurdle for most users.
Pros
Cons
  • Frequent crashes on startup and after pairing; the app crashes as soon as it opens or when pairing the bike.
  • Unreliable Bluetooth connectivity: slow to connect, disconnects often, and sometimes stops working when the app is backgrounded.
  • Inconsistent data saving: maintenance logs not reliably saved and ride logs can take days to appear or show incorrect duration; mileage data often missing.
  • Privacy concerns: background location usage persists even when not active; mandatory login with Google/Apple; lengthy terms and broad data collection.
  • Missing essential features and data: lacks CarPlay/Android Auto, no gas gauge, and does not reliably display mileage/oil life or other key ride data.

The app is well enough. It lets me make changes to ride modes and all that in the app instead of on the dash. But when I use navigation and try to listen to music, it makes my audio sound like AM radio on blown speakers. 25 Z900

This app is TERRIBLE. There is an option in this app to record your service history as well as ride logs but there's no cloud storage service for the data. Once the app is updated the maintenance logs and ride history are erased and bluetooth pairing is lost (it must be reconnected to the bike after each update). No bike settings cam be adjusted with this app. Software updates for TFT functions are non-existent (all modern vehicles have remote software updates of some form). There are functions on the newer TFT screens that are NOT able to be reset (e.g. average gas milage, trip ride time, average speed etc) and should be. The software designers apparently passed muster on half a functional display screen. Since it's 2026 you'd think a software update would fix something so simple.
