User Reviews

Warlords Conquest: Enemy Lines is a solid RTS with tactical depth, balanced challenges, and a player-friendly ad model. Reviewers praise its core gameplay and potential, especially in comparison to similar titles. However, several recurring concerns include limited endgame content, a strong desire for more factions (dwarves, etc.), and QoL issues in controls and UI. Overall, it’s a strong foundation with clear opportunities for growth via new content and improved usability.
Pros
  • Engaging real-time strategy gameplay with deep tactical depth and a rewarding upgrade loop.
  • Balanced and challenging, demanding strategy without becoming overly frustrating.
  • Ad model is player-friendly: ads are optional and rewards are available (no forced pop-ups).
  • Depth and potential: many players feel the game has more to offer and compares favorably to similar titles like Trench Warfare.
  • Positive sense of ongoing development and future updates.
Cons
  • Endgame content is limited: after finishing levels there’s not much else to do.
  • Desire for more factions and content (notably dwarves) and more frequent updates.
  • UI/controls could use QoL improvements: troop placement is line-restricted, lacking speed controls and clearer unit stats.

I enjoy many of the design choices. I dig the retro feel, and the unit upgrades. However, much like how unit autosend was crucial to the ui of “Warlords: Call to Arms” and the sequel, it is necessary here. Necessary, and absent. Please add unit autosend to this game. Last selected unit deploys in last selected battle row when its deployment cycle is ready. Also, let me pick the lane of deployment at my leisure, not just when units are ready. Think about it, devs.

The game was decent. Got boring after the 6th level. Still good tho. Trench Warfare is 5x better tho I’d 100% recommend that game.

Fun, but the last level is cheap. Spamming giants in a single row is annoying
