User Reviews

BM Ringside provides a deep, realistic boxing management sim with fighter development, events, contracts, and promotion tools, and scores highly for depth, authenticity, and active dev support. Players love building champions and managing the business side. Common drawbacks include monetization concerns (subscription/pay-to-play), balance and progression issues (inconsistent rankings and unfair losses), revenue bugs that sap profits when PPV shifts to FTW, and technical stability problems (crashes, lost saves, access issues). Some also want finer retirement options and more precise attribute controls. Overall it remains highly engaging when functioning.
Pros
  • Deep boxing management simulation with fighter development, events, contracts, and promotion tools
  • Realism and depth with attribute accuracy and life-like career progression
  • Broad feature set including champions, manager/coach roles, and contract/ownership options (buying out contracts)
  • Active, responsive developers with frequent updates and improvements
  • Highly engaging when the systems are functioning properly
Cons
  • Monetization/pay-to-play concerns (subscription fees, paywalls, monthly payments)
  • Balance and progression fairness issues (inconsistent rankings, unwinnable matchups, unfair losses)
  • Revenue transparency/bugs (PPV shifting to FTW drastically reducing revenue and profits)
  • Technical stability issues (crashes, save data loss, features inaccessible)
  • UX/design friction (tedious gym setup and limited retirement/attribute control)

The only complaint I have is that Undisputed and going up Weight Classes doesn’t have as much upside as it does in real life on the game. Would like to see fighters get more points and fans when they do that. I don’t know how much work this would be but I’d like to see records like undefeated streaks, KO percentage, youngest champion. Lastly, I think it’ll be cool if prospects can go pro at 17 like some do in real life.

Really fun game but I can’t get my new fighters any fights at the moment. And it’s been like that for almost a week

i’ve bet over 50 million and 20 million and won both bets but it never gave me the money for them but other than that it’s a fun game
