User Reviews

Users praise its simple, beginner-friendly interface and realistic, progressive workouts that steadily increase pull-up reps and back strength. It’s easy to use and focused, delivering results without fluff. However, recurring complaints about paywalls after a short trial, premium features removing access after updates, and reliability issues temper the enthusiasm. A few reviews note the plan stops at intermediate and lacks a deeper regimen. Overall, it’s strong for gradual progression if you’re comfortable with the cost and occasional software issues.
Pros
  • Realistic, gradual progression that avoids overtraining
  • Simple to use with a clean interface
  • Effective at increasing pull-up reps / building back strength
  • Beginner-friendly and good for getting started
  • Focused, no-frills program that delivers results
Cons
  • Paywalls and premium features after a short trial; forced to pay for full program
  • Updates or purchases can remove access; difficulties restoring purchases
  • Reliability issues such as crashes or instability around upgrade/purchase
  • Not ideal for absolute beginners / progression stops at intermediate
  • Lacks a deeper regimen or advanced progression beyond intermediate

App helps with pull ups

Beginning plan. Week 1 day 1…. Do 6 pulls ups. Umm, if I could do 6 pull ups I would not be using a training app. Lol

Had this app for years but this is actually the first time I’ve stuck with it for a bit as I’ve wanted to focus on pull-ups/chin-ups specifically after losing so much ground over the last year and resuming my climbing. So far, the progression is actually realistic and slow because many apps I’ve found, it’s like they think you can gain strength and muscle within 24 hours and I’d get discouraged doing the same week or day over and over. Not this app. For me, when it says a number of reps for pull-ups, I do that number of reps, rest 10 seconds, and then also do that number of reps as chin ups before moving on in order to get both.
