User Reviews

Users praise the app for a clean, simple workout flow and reminders, but repeatedly complain about bottom ads blocking buttons and causing usability problems. The free tier apparently caps progression to 12-15 pull-ups, with higher levels behind a paywall. Ads can also disrupt workouts or music. Additionally, a few reviews note that the initial workouts can be too challenging for beginners. Overall, stability and structure are valued, while ad placement and monetization are the key pain points.
Pros
  • Stable performance with no crashes and a pleasant, clean UI.
  • Helps you stay on track with workouts, including warmups and reminder push notifications.
  • Simple and easy to use.
Cons
  • Ads at the bottom frequently cover navigation buttons, blocking progress and sometimes making the app unusable.
  • Free version does not allow reaching 20 pull-ups and higher levels require payment.
  • Ads can interrupt workouts or music during exercise.
  • Some users feel the beginner workouts are too hard for new users.

The app is good. It doesn’t crash, and it looks nice. There are two things that took off two stars from this, though. One is that sometimes the horizontal ads on the bottom of the screen block the button to go to the next set. You have to forge close the app and then start again. The other thing is that it doesn’t get you to be able to do 20 pull-ups. You chose a level for yourself, then you do all the sets for a week or so. The highest FREE level is level five, which is 12-15 pull-ups. Then, level six is 16-20. Level and up aren’t free! The level five workout does not get you to 20 pull-ups, so you have to pay to get to 20 pull-ups. Be mindful when getting this app!!

A required advertising glitch makes the app unusable. The buttons required to submit completion of a stage and to move on to next stage are covered up by an advert on the bottom of the screen.
