CareFirst's iOS app is overwhelmingly criticized for performance and reliability. Reviewers report it is slow, crashes frequently, and is often non-functional, making tasks lengthy or impossible. After being with CareFirst for years now, the app has continued to suck. UI is garbage, struggles to log in, and can’t keep a session alive if the company depended on it. For the amount of money paid to them, you’d imagine they would have a half decent team to keep this together.
Kludgy and impossible to use. After it takes forever to load data it “spins” a wheel on every single request. When you do manage to load something the text is so small as to be unreadable, there is no zoom, and no way to export or print anything. Pretty much useless for almost everything related to its intended purpose other than collecting money; that part works just fine.
