Overall, reviews depict CareFirst's Android app as unstable and difficult to use. Recurrent issues include authentication problems (no biometrics, 2FA each login, unreliable remember-me), slow performance and frequent freezes, and inability to access key content like digital insurance cards, EOBs, and PDFs. UI/UX problems appear as overlays and pop-ups blocking controls, plus status-bar/map UI that makes navigation frustrating. Data loading is inconsistent, with benefits sometimes shown as not covered or missing. Device compatibility is inconsistent. Recent reviews

I wish I could give this app 0 stars. Never remembers your login session. The "Remember me for 45 days" doesn't work. Switching to any app will guarantee that the CareFirst app will disappear from your phone's memory, forcing you to log in once again and live through hell all over again.

this app is very frustrating to use. The top and bottom buttons hide under the Android system menus, and therefore are not accessible. I also have to log in EVERY SINGLE TIME, even if I was just using the app. There's also no option of biometric login, and it doesn't store the MFA token, regardless of whether I check the "remember me" box or not. The backend is also underpowered, and the app is so slow because of it. I make my living support app back, hire me to make this thing usable

probably one of the worst app experiences I have ever had. I'd say use a different app, but if you are stuck with their insurance you are stuck with the app.
