Even the most lightweight stories are firewalled with the latest update, so there’s nothing to read except headlines. I know The Oregonian is struggling for money, but $150 per year for mediocre writing is ludicrous. Especially when you compare the cost of much better papers like the New York Times and the Washington Post.
