The app constantly generates red dot notifications when there is nothing to see. This has been an issue forever and will likely never be fixed.

I accidentally disconnected my WiFi router and once everything was back up and running, the SimpliSafe app will not work no matter what I do. I’ve contacted customer service to troubleshoot the base and keypad and the agents barely know what they’re doing. While they’re telling me that my system is showing as active in their end, the app is not reflecting that. It’s all a mess. I give up with this company.
