Features & Capabilities

DreamMapper is a mobile and web app that keeps CPAP users actively informed about their previous night’s therapy—monitoring mask fit, hours of use, and overall treatment progress. With Bluetooth data transfer from Philips PAP devices, it delivers daily feedback and lets you set alerts and personal goals to stay on track.

The app also offers rich educational content with videos and guides, notifications for therapy changes and compatible equipment, and easy setup. DreamMapper is part of Philips Respironics Dream Family, designed to help you sleep better at night and feel more rested during the day.

User Reviews

User reviews consistently report major reliability problems, especially with syncing CPAP data. Bluetooth pairing often fails or becomes corrupted, requiring repeated re-pairing or reinstalling. Updates frequently disrupt functionality, with some users unable to sync or log in, and Apple Health integration is notably absent. Many find the UI cluttered and not user-friendly after recent changes. Data accuracy is frequently questioned, including usage hours and daily stats. Some users note occasional improvements after updates, but overall stability and health integration are still lacking.
Pros
  • Improved design/UX after the latest update
  • App sometimes updates automatically on launch and displays data
  • Performs basic data tracking for sleep therapy when the sync works
Cons
  • Frequent syncing failures and unreliable Bluetooth pairing requiring re-pairing or reinstalling
  • No Apple Health integration / health data sync missing
  • UI/UX degraded by updates and now appears cluttered and harder to use
  • Login and account issues (frequent login prompts, password reset codes not received, account lockouts)
  • Inaccurate usage data and reporting, with reports not reflecting actual sleep time

For 3 months now I can’t sync my machine. It will not connect to app. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling but nothing works. I used to rely on this app to keep track of my sleep apnea but nothing now.

Now over a year since major upgrade and rarely provides sleep data. The app used to work 90% of the time prior to “upgrade”. Now syncs and provides data once a week. Time is money and this app costs me time to monitor how it is controlling my sleep apnea. Besides rarely syncing, it insults me by saying good afternoon or good evening when still early in morning. Overall very poor experience and execution.
