Recent reviews

with the new release gets stuck on a screen. Had to wait for a bit to get it to change. update 4/4: with the latest updates the app has gone from great to terrible. Don’t understand why the tech group at Safeway/Albertsons made some of the changes. Do they use the app? Some of the items listed in “for U deals” at the top lists items you buy when most I have never bought and never will. And sometimes when you click on an item you get an error message so you don’t get the discount. Update to my previous post. Why add AI to the app. It has only made it worse. And again, it is still adding to my frequent buyer list items I have never purchased and never will. Maybe it’s my local Safeway but so often items on a reduced price are not available. In the “olden” days you could get a paper that would give you the price after the sale ended. Not now. And whoever redesigned the parking lot doesn’t realize that by moving the cart return area when I am backing out of my (yes the handicap) slot and someone is unloading their cart into their vehicle leaves no room to back out.
