Deputy: Shift Schedule Maker

This app will not let me offer my shifts to anyone, I was told that I would be able to give shifts I cannot work to other freelancers and that feature has not worked correctly in the 1.5 years that I’ve had to use this terrible app. There also seems to be absolutely no one to speak to about this, I am repeatedly told by the app to speak with my supervisor but she doesn’t know anything about this app either and is also VERY BUSY managing many employees from many locations & this really seems like more of a tech support issue that should be addressed by someone that specifically works with this app. It should not matter if there are people to offer the shift to, just because this app cannot figure out how to list the other freelancers that could potentially take this shift does not change the fact that I CANNOT WORK THIS SHIFT. Pushing the button that says “cannot work” should actually tell someone that I cannot work this shift, but instead all it does is bring up a message box where I can send this shift to other people to see if they want it- but there is never anyone listed in this area, so it won’t let me finalize the “can’t work” action that I am trying to take, so now it just says i was “absent” even though I said ahead of time that I cannot work. I know I’m not the only freelancer in this area, but even if I were - if I push a button that says “I can’t work” it needs to tell some human person somewhere that I cannot work it should not matter if your stupid app can figure out who else to offer it to. This is absolutely INFURIATING

This is one of the worst scheduling apps I have ever used. It never works correctly. He has called me issues on jobs on multiple occasions. You’ll put the schedule in 1 AM to 1 PM. It’ll pop up on the employee side as 4am to 4pm.

My current jobs used this app. It’s incredibly user friendly and easy to navigate. I love how simple it is to find everything I need. The only things I’d like to see the app add would be. 1.) pay. A way to see your earnings at the rate which you get paid. IE: weekly or bi weekly. I just enjoy being able to see what I’ll be getting and able to budget out. 2.) a better messaging system. Other than that. The clock in and out works great. The timesheet is accurate and always up to date. My hours are easily readable and the reminders to clock in are nice. 9.5/10
