I'm using iPad, and tried to check something in my account, the screen layout was so screwed that I just couldn't find the contents I was looking for! Also, when I tried to write a review for an item I purchased at the local Michaels store using my membership a few days ago, it says I could not write a review unless I purchased this item. Does it make sense?

2026-08-03	Gu*****	I love how the affirm pay layer button is located in the worst spot possible, that screen is always popping up on me. I have taken orders elsewhere when it has ticked me off too much. For the love of god, fire your app developer and find someone new!!

2026-07-30	Ch*****	I don’t think I have ever successfully used this app without having to force restart it. I need to give it at least 5 minutes to load my rewards and coupons before approaching the cash register. I love Michael’s, but there have been multiple occasions where I shop online at a different store instead of dealing with this app.

2026-07-30	Gr*****	I love shopping at Michael’s…I wish the app wasn’t so difficult. I guess it’s a good thing for me that the app is horrible because it saves me from spending a lot of money…however, it would still be nice to be able to shop the app without it freezing every couple of seconds. It’s genuinely the worst app I have on my phone. For such a large chain, you would think they could create an app that actually works. I wanted to buy a bunch of stuff this morning for an event I’m participating in, but, I guess I’ll be shopping on Amazon instead because the Michael’s app just keeps freezing and it’s impossible to buy anything. What a shame…

I could buy online to pick up in store, I could research what I wanted to buy ahead of time, and I could access my coupons quickly. One of the recent updates (possibly when the digital assistant was added) slowed the app down to the point where it’s not worth using. Upon opening, my phone immediately gets hot and stays that way until I force close the app. I’m lucky if I can do a search AND open one of the results in the first session- often I have to force quit at least twice before it works. Finally, the app no longer lets my payments go through (even though the website does). It’s the same payment method both times, but the app cites an error and stalls every time. PLEASE simplify your app again so I can continue ordering from you!

I accidentally open the chat multiple times every time I use the app. Please allow users to hide, dismiss, or reposition the button, or move it to a less intrusive location. This significantly detracts from the usability of the app.

2026-07-29	tr*****	The store is great. The app is so, so slow and clunky. It freezes all the time. I can barely search for anything. It is great to have the functionality of seeing what is in stock in stores near me, but it never responds in the app. It takes so long to pull up a search, and the chances of it crashing as you begin to look through the results is so high.
