User Reviews

Cardiograph Classic is praised for easy use and for providing a pulse history that some users share with doctors. Many report readings are reasonably accurate for casual tracking, and it’s helpful for monitoring irregular rhythms and heart-rate trends. However, multiple reviews cite reliability and accuracy problems: readings can be off or zero at times, the app can stop working or fail to launch after updates, and it isn’t a medical-grade tool (not an EKG) with mixed physician acceptance. Some users also dislike the fake waveform. Overall, good for basic tracking, limited clinical utility.
Pros
  • Easy to use with quick pulse readings
  • Helpful for tracking irregular rhythms and heart-rate trends over time
  • Readings are reasonably accurate for casual monitoring and can be shared with doctors
  • Generally positive user sentiment and appreciation when it works
  • Good for building a history of readings to discuss with clinicians
Cons
  • Inaccurate readings: users report the app overestimates heart rate or is not close to medical devices
  • Unreliable performance: works for a while then stops, and recent updates fail to launch
  • Not a medical-grade tool: not an EKG and has mixed acceptance by doctors
  • Waveform animation is misleading or not representative of actual blood flow
  • Poor handling of irregular rhythms (Afib) with reads often failing or showing zero
Recent reviews
Reads 20-30 higher heart rate than actual. Used BP Cuff to get actual heart rate. Not worth the 99cent I paid.
