User Reviews

Users praise the app for strong ASL vocabulary and useful phrases, a helpful text-to-sign feature for practicing sentence structure, and the ease of use for learning on the go and communicating with Deaf people. However, multiple reviews flag reliability issues (freezes/crashes), translation inaccuracies and poor sentence structure, limited content (gaps in phrases and alphabet), and outdated UI/video quality. Overall, it’s a valuable learning aid with notable performance and content limitations.
Pros
  • Strong ASL vocabulary and phrases for learning.
  • Text-to-sign feature helps with sentence construction and conversational practice.
  • Easy to use and convenient for quick lookups and practice anywhere.
  • Useful for real-life communication with Deaf individuals.
  • Responsive support and reasonable value for money (e.g., refunds, prompt responses).
Cons
  • Reliability issues: app freezes/crashes and can stop translating.
  • Translation quality problems: text-to-sign translations are inaccurate and don reflect proper sentence structure.
  • Content gaps: limited phrases, many alphabet letters left blank; excessive finger-spelling.
  • Video quality and UI design: low-quality videos and an outdated, messy interface.
  • Some features don work for all users (text-to-sign not always functional; signs not shown clearly).
Recent reviews
If you don’t have a good vision, don’t get it. These videos are extremely low quality. The app design is like 80s. Too messy
