Recent reviews

I can deal with a reasonable amount of ads, but now they’ve added ads with audio and basically no way to simply mute it or have the entire app muted. It’s intentionally obnoxious and unusable now.

Developers: please rethink the app design. I’m really disappointed that this formerly wonderful app has fallen so far. > The layout is a MESS, with overlapping bubbles and confused design > No more back button to return to your search results. Didn’t select the right word? Start your whole search over. > No more etymology tab with the historical use of the word 😭 > No more saving words, so no use for studying the GRE > All my saved words from over the years appear now to be gone 😭 > Worst of all: even though I have the paid version of the app, the visual focus is now ads. Why, guys? This was an amazing resource - why strip out its best features? Back a year later to say I’m so disappointed that there have been no updates which resolve the backslide this app has taken.
