Most reviewers acknowledge strong hardware and usable fine-tuning with good iPhone integration, but the Sony | Hearing Control app is plagued by stability and usability problems. Repeated logins, loss of paired devices, and non-persistent settings, internet dependency for basic adjustments, frequent crashes, and slow support dominate the experience and overshadow the hardware benefits.

Recent reviews

I should not need the internet to use these; since they don’t connect to the phone for music or calls, they should be independent of net use. I also don’t like that the data has to be continually refed into the system. Friends sign onto games and it remembers multiple things; why can’t this app? Bring back world beater Sony; this new one must fight to get the crown back!
