I purchased this Frigidaire air conditioner specifically because it has Wi-Fi so I can monitor and control it remotely. I have been using the app successfully for about a week with no problems. Today, however, the app suddenly stopped connecting and only gives me “Something went wrong. Refresh to try again.” My home Wi-Fi is working, and I can connect remotely to my Ring camera and other devices without any problem. I am also not at home, so I can’t physically access the air conditioner to reset it or troubleshoot the Wi-Fi connection. The whole reason I bought a Wi-Fi-enabled unit was to be able to control it when I’m away. It is extremely frustrating when the feature works perfectly for days and then suddenly becomes unavailable with no useful explanation or troubleshooting option in the app. Frigidaire needs to make the app much more reliable. If you advertise remote Wi-Fi control as a feature, it needs to actually work when customers need it.

I love the AC and the app, except that AT LEAST once a week I have to re-connect the AC to app. This has been going on for over a year! Every time an update comes out I cross my fingers that the problem has been fixed. Not yet! PLEASE FIX!!!
