BrainTap: Brain Fitness

I’ve been using Brain Tap for a few years now almost everyday. Being a Mom/MIL/Step-Mom/Grandma to almost 20 ppl, Brain Tap has allowed me to keep showing up well and stable minded for my family. I feel more in control of my emotions, thoughts and responses. It’s really incredible technology. Huge fan!!

I would give this a much better review if it weren't $30 a month, in perpetuity, to use the headset. Most people won't need and/or use more than a few of the session categories so "access to hundreds" that won't be used doesn't really benefit the user after they find the categories or sessions they like. Even the best entertainment or home workout streaming services don't cost $30 a month - or $360 a year. Xbox users pay for the console and then pay for games. They aren't forced to pay monthly to just play a game they now own on a device they also own. Even Apple allows for both a subscription service to access everything and a pay per movie or song option. Some people just want a movie library of movies they enjoy and not pay just to have access to every movie on the planet. The BrainTap company would sell many more headsets (and make a lot more money) if they offered more than one subscription for at home use I OWN the headset. I paid hundreds for it. To force me to pay $30 a month just to use it AT ALL really pisses me off... tbh. (The 7 "Founders Choice" free sessions include to "how to's" and are a joke - so they don't count as free content in my opinion.) Suggestion: Offer a one time lifetime access purchase option for the whole library ... AND an option to pay smaller ONE TIME fees for PERMANENT access to individual libraries/categories similar to buying a TV show series from Prime or AppleTV AND offer the ability to pay for individual sessions so if someone really likes a session they can download and use it as many times as they want for ONE PRICE - like buying a digital song in iTunes As it stands, the business model is greedy and short sighted ... it is all about the subscription money and not about the user. Can't sell subscriptions to those who don't have a headset... SO... Don't waste your money on a headset until BrainTap offers a more ethical and less expensive way for purchasers to use it.
