The Raymarine App is the official digital companion for Raymarine chartplotters and connected boating. Use the Raymarine App to view and control radar, sonar, and chartplotter from your Axiom chartplotter display. Connect and monitor your boat remotely with the Raymarine YachtSense Link mobile router and manage your Raymarine LightHouse Charts right from your mobile device. The Raymarine mobile app also allows streaming and control of Raymarine legacy eS and gS Series chartplotter displays. Please note that Element chartplotter displays are not compatible with the screen mirroring feature.

The Raymarine iOS app can mirror and control the Axiom MFD when it connects, with password memory and some reliability gains after updates. However, recurring issues dominate: login failures and intrusive authentication popups, unstable connections and dropped Wi‑Fi, setup hurdles to configure the boat and download charts, laggy visuals and occasional crashes. Chart access problems and limited support further degrade experience. Overall, users report intermittent usability despite occasional improvements.

Pros

When it connects, it reliably mirrors and controls the Axiom MFD on iPad/iPhone.
App remembers the Axiom Wi‑Fi password for easier repeated use.
Recent updates have improved screen mirroring reliability.
Easy to install and set up in some cases.
Allows two-way control of the Axiom from the iPad (when working).

Cons

Login/authentication problems: invalid login messages, owner login failures, persistent b2clogin.com popups.
Frequent connection drops and instability: 'Reconnecting' loops, poor Wi‑Fi, even with close range.
Setup and boat integration issues: dead ends in 'Setup your boat', unable to configure Wi‑Fi or download charts.
Laggy, grainy visuals and app crashes; unstable performance.
Chart download and data access problems; password/credentials issues causing charts not to download.

Recent reviews

Version 2.3.7 cannot login server issues. Why do I need to login to the world to talk to the instruments on the boat? Marketing over execution. Good thing it is not remotely important….

I got it to connect to a new Axiom 2 exactly once. Then it wouldn’t take the saved WiFi password. Reentered PW and it says it’s connected, but it won’t do anything. It worse than a beta. It shouldn’t even be released to the public. Shame on Raymarine.
