User Reviews

Users broadly praise the app for a simple, clean UI and easy, single-screen view of all debts with no ads. However, reviews repeatedly highlight serious downsides: no ability to model extra payments or income, missing planning tools and charts, and reliability issues (balance errors, crashes, and purchase problems). Some users also report poor iPad support and dissatisfaction with pricing/refund policies. Overall, it’s seen as a basic debt tracker rather than a robust payoff planner.
Pros
  • Simple, clean UI that makes it easy to see all debts in one place and track progress.
  • Better UI than other debt trackers.
  • No ads and little to no upgrade pressure, keeping the experience straightforward.
  • Basic debt organization that users find uncomplicated to manage.
Cons
  • Cannot model extra or adjustable monthly payments or run 'what-if' scenarios; no income input to budget for personalized payoff.
  • Frequent bugs and reliability issues: incorrect balance calculations, arithmetic errors, crashes, and problems restoring purchases.
  • Missing essential planning and reporting features: payoff-date estimates with extras, overall payoff schedule/graphs, and pay dates alignment.
  • Not well optimized for iPad (small screen, limited compatibility).
  • Pricing and refund frustrations: price increases, re-purchasing, and refunds denied.

I use the app knowing it is in no way an accurate pay-off calculation. The reason why is there is not a way to differentiate between the types of debt. Interest on a credit card accumulates differently than it does on an auto or personal loan. I mainly use it to see how much I am applying to the next debt for pay-off. I do wish it let you select the type for each debt instead of a generic entry.

Wish I had read Coyas review before I spent the money. It tells you strategies for paying off debt but no place to put in your income. Just gives these freeball numbers that are higher than my income. I was looking for a strategy for MY BUDGET. Not for the money that grows on trees. Still haven’t found that seed yet.

I would like to see that you can make an additional payment other than on the payment due date
