Armchair Commander is a Unity3D-powered wargame and turn-based strategy that lets you relive World War II and beyond with thousands of user-made missions. From the Battle of Stalingrad to the Normandy landings, command 50+ countries—Germany, the Soviet Union, the United States, the UK, and more—and lead 20+ land, naval, and air units, each with country-specific abilities. Play or create missions spanning WWII into the early Cold War, and sharpen your skills as a battlefield commander.

Key features include Campaigns & Conquests with downloadable maps and about 30 missions; Sandbox & Custom Maps with an in-game map editor and the ability to upload your creations for others to play. Every aspect of a mission can be customized—alliances, resources, cities, airports, troops, veterency, attack distances, winning conditions, and generals—plus simulated politics with events, alliances, betrayals, and lend-lease-style support. Generals exist for hundreds of nations and can be reassigned on the fly. As an indie project, Armchair Commander is continually updated with new content and improvements.

Armchair Commander shines with a powerful map editor, extensive sandbox/WWII content, and mobile-friendly depth, plus PvP features. However, recurring issues hinder the experience: inconsistent AI, map editor and content upload problems (especially on certain devices), saving and end-round bugs, online matchmaking instability, and some UI gaps (missing flags/general options). Addressing these would elevate a strong creative and multiplayer mobile strategy game.

i got kicked out of a mission twice because of a damn add

Though not beautiful this game provides us with the ability to make maps and make levels that the person didn’t make which is very fun for me because I already made 3 maps in the last 2 hours of playing the game which is very fun.
