Steer Clear is designed to help teens under 25 reinforce positive driving habits through guided modules. Insurance and sharing

Completion can translate into potential insurance discounts through State Farm after program completion. Certificates can be shared via text or email or shown to an agent. Recent reviews

Even though I calibrated the app and was driving smoothly on straight highway stretches, this app said that I hit over 80 sharp corners. It gave me a 50/100 for smooth driving. The lessons are alright but even if you watch the short video, the questions aren’t all from that.

The app is very broken when it comes to driving behavior and events. Was driving on a straight highway with a 40 foot camper and got flagged for 10+ “sharp cornering” events. One of the other times this happened it flagged me for 14+ sharp cornering, fast acceleration, and hard braking in a parking lot all within 15 feet of each other. This app genuinely just did not want me to have a halfway decent score.
