Steer Clear is designed to help teens under 25 reinforce positive driving habits through guided modules. The app tracks progress across pre-set learning content (including Bluetooth usage, distracted driving, and special driving situations), automatically scores braking, acceleration, and cornering, and eliminates the need to manually log trips. Drivers earn a completion certificate and digital badges as they advance, providing motivation and recognition for safe driving.

Insurance and sharing

Completion can translate into potential insurance discounts through State Farm after program completion. Certificates can be shared via text or email or shown to an agent. Often will I get feedback saying that I’ve made very sharp turns or break hard, but I simply am not. It will also just stop recording trips sometimes without me noticing.
