I think the watch is great and this is a really novel way to set time. I’m a little sad the app is not longer being supported/updated. I still use the app any time I need to set up the watch. For the 17 pro the flash is on the other side so instead of lining up in the camera you line the 12 on the watch roughly to the led. Still works! It’s a bit finicky though. A more modern watch would likely use Bluetooth low energy, but there’s a lot of charm to the light flashing method. I hope this app is never taken down! I install it on every new phone I get. 4 stars not 5 because they should update it for new phones. 🙂
