Went to try it out, after seeing a realtime device with USB connection was allegedly not locked behind a paywall. No such luck. In Maya, upon attempting to connect to the port, the script editor just spams “Connection Rejected: Please update application to PRO version.” Would have loved to try this out. Shame it’s locked behind a paywall.

I’ve reached out via email twice, messaged Facebook, messaged their Instagram, and JUST left a comment on one of their YouTube videos. It’s been weeks since I sent the initial emails. I’ve wasted time and energy trying other motion capture applications that just seem much worse, but for some reason I keep coming back to this one that I can’t even get installed correctly. There website doesn’t have a 2025 downloadable version for Maya, and I’ve tried to get their 2024 and 23 2.2.1 version and their 2020 2.1.1 version to work to no avail. I’m assuming this is because Maya 2025 isn’t compatible with these older versions, but I wouldn’t know because nobody will respond. UPDATE: They’ve gotten back to me and advised that they are working on a Maya 2025 version. Will update to 3 stars for now, and update further upon release.
