Features & Capabilities

Dicey Dungeons is a fast-paced roguelike deckbuilder where you become a giant walking dice and battle through ever-changing dungeons. From Terry Cavanagh (Super Hexagon, VVVVVV), Chipzel, and Marlowe Dobbe, the game blends strategy with the chaos of dice rolls as you work to defeat the Goddess of Fortune, Lady Luck.

You’ll fight monsters, seek better loot, and level up your heroes as you adapt to unpredictable encounters. With tight combat, collectible loot, and novel dice mechanics, it’s a fresh take on deckbuilding that rewards clever planning and bold risk.

User Reviews

Obviously we all know the game is great but we need a vertical option and it seems like this would be possible for this game. It’s a one handed game and not much going on makes no sense to be landscape considering the simplistic layout.

There is no real feeling of progression. You do not get more skills or better stats, just different challenges. Heavily luck based.

Started off loving Dicey Dungeons — clever dice mechanics, cool equipment combos, great pick-up-and-play feel. Then the game pulled a “surprise, you lose!” moment where a boss can only be killed with one random item… that the game might never give you. Imagine building a perfect run, playing smart, and then getting hard-stopped because you didn’t bring a wooden stake to a vampire fight you didn’t know was coming. It’s not “challenging,” it’s just dumb. If you enjoy roguelikes that reward skill and planning, be warned: sometimes this one punishes you unfairly and wastes your time with a gimmick.
