User Reviews

Four Last Things delivers sharp wit, artful design, and solid puzzle logic. Reviewers praise the witty dialogue and the Monty Python/Monkey Island vibe, the stunning use of classical artworks, and the engaging puzzles that are challenging but accessible. However, players repeatedly note the game is short, leaving a sense of wanting more, and some report clunky touch controls and occasional UI friction. The music, while fitting, can become repetitive, and many would welcome narration or voice acting to bring characters to life.
Pros

  • Stunning art style that uses classical Renaissance works and creates a visually rich world
  • Clever, accessible puzzles with tight logic and satisfying challenges
  • Strong overall charm and humor that appeal to fans of classic adventure games
  • Great atmosphere and the integration of art and music enhances the experience
Cons
  • Very short length; many players feel the game ends too quickly and want more content
  • Music can become repetitive and repetitive tunes can fatigue players
  • Clunky or fiddly controls and UI/navigation can hinder exploration
  • Lack of narration or voice acting; players would welcome voiced dialogue to bring characters to life

One major error is you can’t click on the top row of paintings or anything at the top of the screen because it will default to bringing down the inventory bar :(

I have never heard of this guy but I am giggling to myself as I play because the dialogue is so funny. I wish all games had writing as witty and unique. Of course if you love Month Python you will love the art. Any lovers of Monkey Island or Day of the Tentacle will also fit right in. Worth every penny

I’m enjoying this game a lot, BUT I am struggling with a glitch, and couldn’t go farther. I can’t get him to drink his beer! He was able to fill it up, but I can’t get him to drink it! Help!
