User Reviews

The app is praised for its simplicity, beginner-friendly walk/run structure, and distance/pace tracking with no upfront subscription. However, users frequently report paywalls after a few workouts, crashes that erase progress, and poor treadmill/indoor tracking. The progression pace is often deemed too fast and unclear, with limited options to repeat or reset days. Some also note data syncing issues with Apple Health. Overall, it’s a helpful starter tool when it works, but reliability and cost transparency are common drawbacks.
Pros
  • Easy to use and beginner-friendly interface.
  • Free to start; no ongoing subscription required initially.
  • Motivating walk/run structure that makes it easy to follow.
  • Tracks distance and pace.
  • Enforces a schedule to keep you moving and on track even if you miss a day.
Cons
  • Paywall after the initial workouts; requires purchasing to continue (often around $3.99–$5), not free as advertised.

For the functionality, not worth the money. It required “unlocking” multiple times along the journey when it already said it was fully unlocked. Ask once. Rude.

This is the second time that I have gone on a run and it does not save my progress so I have to do the step again. And it makes me upset because if I track it on my Apple Watch, it’s fine, but I don’t get the satisfaction of the stepping stones and there’s hardly times where I only do that specific distance. Usually, I’ll do the interval runs and then continue to walk the rest of the way for the 3 miles. I was about to rave about it but fool me once shame on you fool me twice can’t get fooled again.
