BMW Motorrad Connected turns your smartphone into a motorcycle navigation and planning tool. Plan routes with waypoints, import GPX files, and view weather for your location. It can connect wirelessly to BMW motorcycles equipped with a TFT display or ConnectedRide Cradle via Bluetooth, using the Multi-Controller for safe on-handlebar control. If your bike lacks a TFT display but has a Multi-Controller, the ConnectedRide Cradle can turn your phone into a navigation display.

Key features include motorcycle-specific navigation with winding-route criteria, lane-by-lane guidance, real-time traffic data, and offline maps. You can record journeys, analyze performance (e.g., banking angle, acceleration, engine speed), export GPX routes, and share rides and photos on social media. The app also provides vehicle data like mileage, range, tire pressure, and online service scheduling. Note that hardware compatibility and an internet connection are required for traffic data, and GPS usage may impact battery life.

Multiple attempts and pw resets….cant get past verification….every time I match the object, it sends me back to sign-in screen. Dealer says same and can’t help me.

Stick to building bikes. Software is buggy, unintuitive and slow.

UI takes some getting used to. But I like the integration with the bmw clock wheel. Makes it easy to use while riding. Mapping is not the best. It would be nice if they just paid for Google’s tech there.
