Cannot open game feature. It just keeps spinning but never opens.

In the game mode the count down starts, however, when it reaches zero the app freezes. In the song mode the video and chord views are not in sync. I have deleted app and reinstalled it several times but the issues persist. Same issues on my iPad and iPhone.
