User Reviews

Overall, reviews praise MySudo for strong privacy and an easy-to-use design, including mobile calling/texting. However, recurring issues include stability bugs, lack of desktop SMS, unreliable call delivery, pricing/number provisioning concerns, and weak customer support. These themes explain the mixed sentiment and highlight where improvements are most needed.
Pros
  • Strong privacy and encryption: messages and emails are encrypted between MySudo users, with a clear focus on privacy.
  • Easy to use and well-organized interface.
  • Mobile calling and texting capability allows quick communication via MySudo on mobile devices.
  • Privacy-focused use cases and convenience for privacy-conscious tasks (e.g., job apps, sensitive communications).
Cons
  • Stability and reliability issues: frequent bugs, performance problems, and some installations fail to load after updates.
  • Cross-device gaps: desktop version lacks SMS/messaging features and relies on email instead.
  • Phone call delivery issues: calls often go to voicemail or are not reliably delivered, with occasional missed notifications on wearables.
  • Pricing and number provisioning concerns: additional costs for numbers and features; some users feel it’s not worth the investment.
  • Customer support concerns: reports of limited or slow support, and accounts being banned without clear explanations.

This isn’t ANYTHING like it’s advertised. I paid for the subscription and can’t even use the service. They will verify your identity and then charge your credit card a dollar. All just to tell you that they can’t authenticate your “funding source” so you can’t use their virtual cards. What a waste of my time and money with this ridiculous BS. Verifying my identity I wasn’t expecting either. So much for actual privacy. The app most definitely is collecting and selling our data because why else would downloading an app be necessary? You can’t just use it from the website. Complete fraudsters who are the exact opposite of what they claim. I’m so disgusted.

Such a great email client and I know it’s the most private email product on the market. There’s still a few features that I’d like to see but overall, 10/10 would recommend!
