Cloaked: Protect your privacy

Customer Service is basically non existent. They have the “live chat” feature, but no one is ever there. There are so many glitches and kinks that need worked out in this app. Don’t bother, try something else.

Before trying Cloaked, I was getting about 4 to 5 spam calls a day. Within the very first hour of switching to Cloaked, I was slammed with 5 spam calls in the morning alone. It completely backfired. I had to scramble to turn my AT&T ActiveArmor back on, which took hours because AT&T requires a waiting period before you can re-subscribe. While AT&T's free service isn't perfect, it is way more efficient than Cloaked. Furthermore, Cloaked completely fails to mention a massive technical catch: if you choose to receive calls through their app instead of your native phone app, you must have a flawless internet connection. If your connection dips, even legitimate, critical calls will NOT go through. Their service is extremely overpriced for the poor performance they deliver; honestly, it isn't worth more than $2 a month. If you are looking for effective data removal and privacy, skip Cloaked and look into Incogni or Aura instead. They actually do what they claim to do.

I tried this app to hopefully reduce spam calls. I’ve tried other apps in the past with no success. I hoped someone figured out a fix but they did not. Don’t fall for all their advertising. I went through all the recommended steps which took a lot of time. It had no effect on spam calls. It increased the notifications because I still see the calls and the app also notifies you. Save your money and time.
