Overall, players adore Lifeline: Halfway to Infinity for its engaging, character-driven story and affordable price. Taylor is a standout, and the game offers replayability and an immersive vibe with its soundtrack. Common criticisms focus on Apple Watch support being missing, a sense that endings don’t branch much, and a strong desire for more installments and longer, richer gameplay. A few notes on occasional bugs or UI quirks exist, but the reception remains largely positive.
Pros
  • Strong, likable main character Taylor and engaging, emotional storytelling that players form attachments to.
  • Great value for money: affordable price with no hidden fees.
  • High replayability: multiple playthroughs with different choices and outcomes.
  • Immersive world elements, including the Lonely Astronaut playlist, that deepen immersion.
Cons
  • Lack of Apple Watch support / no longer available on Apple Watch.
  • Endings feel non-branching or predetermined; limited impact of player choices.

It’s gonna take me a long long long time to finish this especially because all of the lifeline stories(specifically Taylor’s and no others) I have been reading on my watch and never really on my phone and this one is not available for the Apple Watch which is a real disappointment to me. Other than that it’s a wonderful series I’m glad a bought the first one and after reading the second I immediately bought the third and fourth together. Thanks for making this interesting story which has kept me out of boredom many times when I didn’t have my phone. Sadly I’m gonna have to figure out a way to continue this without my watch.
