The Carrier® Connect™ Commercial Thermostat allows for complete control of a building's heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system from anywhere in the world. The thermostat features an intuitive touchscreen interface for managing settings locally, or it can be controlled remotely by using the Carrier® Connect™ Commercial Thermostat app.

Every time I manually increase the heat setting, the fan changes from “auto” to “on” all by itself

I have 50 Carrier units on my building. Carrier was my choice. Sadly I had no choice in the horrible contractor either. Of the 50 units I still have 8 T-Stats that do not work properly 1 1/2 years since install. The contractor has been zero help getting the issues resolved. The server side of the Carrier platform is horrible. It is not stable. Quite frankly it is junk.

Our Fire Department has multiple thermostats and roof commercial units for our fire station. The builder’s two year warranty is almost up and we still haven’t solved the heat/AC disparity throughout the station. So the HVAC contractor installed new thermostats (these Carriers). Not a solution at all; furthermore, the app is useless. I am the station officer and set up an account but cannot even log into the app. I have to go to the website and log in. The app said that the email and/or password is incorrect yet I use the exact same to log in to the website. Recommend avoiding.
