User Reviews

Most reviews describe Apple's Home app as unreliable and hard to use. The top recurring issues are repeated setup failures and Could not add errors when creating a home or pairing devices, frequent update prompts that block usage, and inconsistent or failing device pairing and connectivity with little actionable diagnostics. Users report devices dropping from the system, scenes failing, and blank screens. Security prompts—especially forced two-factor authentication—add friction. Overall, many users feel the UX is unfriendly and the product lacks reliable support, pushing some to abandon the ecosystem.

Not sure how to explain this review, but every time I try to rewatch footage the video doesn’t play, and when it does “play” the footage isn’t even been played but every footage recorded is being skipped every second. An example would be it recorded 10 videos in 2 hours, but when I tried to rewatched the 10 videos, it will show a picture/thumbnail instead of the recorded footage, and it will play for 1 second and skip into the next video and play for another second. Meaning 10 “videos” or more like 10 “pictures” were played in 10 seconds instead of 3 minutes of videos /footage. Another problem is that a picture/thumbnail will be stuck when scrolling through footage as a picture from yesterday footage would be stuck into the gaps from last when rewatching footage.
