The Hiring Team app shows potential by enabling rapid applicant review and team collaboration, but is hampered by widespread login problems, missing essential mobile features, a poor UI/UX on iPad and mobile devices, frequent crashes, and a perception of immaturity with few updates.

Pros

Helps quickly review applicants, screen/disposition them, leave notes, and collaborate with the hiring team.
Allows contacting candidates from within the app (call candidates).
Facilitates efficient team communication and feedback during interviews.
Looks promising — the core ATS features are usable and the app can function in certain workflows.

Cons

Login/SSO issues prevent access (Azure AD) and company email logins can be rejected.
Limited/mobile functionality vs. the web app (cannot view CV, cannot send invites or emails, missing in-app reminders/notifications).
Poor mobile UI/UX and lack of iPad support (no landscape mode, orientation issues, keyboard overlap).
Crashes on launch and overall performance problems (slow, unstable).
App appears immature with little roadmap for updates or feature improvements.

Recent reviews

I love the web based functionality of JobVite. The ATS is one of the best I’ve used. However this app has been a terrible experience. I was constantly told they were working on fixed and upgraded for over a year. It has never worked. I had to beg to get someone from their tech team to talk to our tech team. It’s such a shame. It’s been so frustrating because we have many hiring a managers that are in the go. We needed this to work and clearly it doesn’t.
