The JennAir app is plagued by reliability and usability problems. Users report frequent disconnections from appliances, poor navigation and confusing labels, and a missing or unreliable timer. Temperature readings often don’t update unless the app is force-closed, and remote control can be inconsistent. Basic controls exist but are overshadowed by bugs, making the app frustrating for daily use.

Recent reviews

With version 6, I can finally see the status of my microwave. But the assisted cooking still doesn’t work. It prompts me to add an appliance and then can’t find the microwave that is already visible elsewhere in the app. Please get what was advertised as a key feature of this appliance to work!

One of the worst apps I have used. The update process is particularly poor.

I’ve been using this app for a year and generally the functionality is pretty terrible, but at least I could manually specify what temperature I want my oven at as bread baking requires specific temperatures, now with this new app update I am stuck at what is on the dials as opposed to sending a custom temperature to the oven. Totally disappointed in this update. Please allow the functionality to manually input temperature back.
