HybridTvViewer is a powerful Chrome extension designed to simulate HbbTV, CE-HTML, BML, and OHTV web pages, which are normally iTV applications. Instead of downloading these pages, the add-on provides an environment mimicking the underlying technologies like OIPF and DVB, enabling seamless testing and development.

Key features include emulation of the TV remote control with navigation and colored keys, and an On Screen Display (OSD) set by default to 1280x720 resolution with options to upscale to UHD displays. For developers, a dedicated tab in the Web Inspector provides tailored tools to facilitate iTV application development and debugging. HybridTvViewer builds upon concepts from its predecessor FireHbbTV, now reimagined as a modern WebExtension for enhanced performance and compatibility.
