La aplicación funciona sobre determinados sitios, los cuales les remueve el reproductor en HTML5 para poner el reproductor nativo del navegador web. Lamentablemente al día siguiente de usarlo, comenzó a mostrar problemas al reproducir los videos, dejando de reproducir. La aplicación ViewTube, reduce el consumo de procesador al remover reproductores complejos o inútiles y deja el acceso al video, haciéndolo más útil para los usuarios, pero no lo hace en todos los sitios, sino en una lista de pocos sitios web. Algo a mejorar.
