Pros
- Supports saving department wide admin logins for vendor accounts.
- Easy to access stored resources.
- Provides a personal vault feature for passwords.
Cons
- Does not auto-fill or auto-login consistently across sites, especially after enabling SAML authentication.
- Requires frequent logins, sometimes every day, which is inconvenient.
- Extension often prompts repeatedly to save passwords but fails to save them.
- Has usability issues such as clunky interface, poor sorting, and not intuitive navigation.
- Errors appear in the browser console and sometimes affects website functionality, e.g., dropdowns.
- Security concern: sends plaintext passwords in API requests.

Worked better before we enabled SAML authentication in PMP. Since we enabled SAML the plug-in no longer auto fills any passwords for any sites. At least before that, it worked for some sites. Extension has never worked as well as any of the other solutions on the market for autofill feature at least.
We have "Prevent extension from prompting to add accounts" turned on since having it off (which means it should prompt to save) only prompts but does not seem to add the account to PMP if you say yes. Not sure if this is also related to SAML being enabled as I didn't know about that toggle until recently. This happens for Chrome and Edge (using chrome extension) as well as the Firefox extension.

Thanks, ManageEngine, the extension needs more develop, why I need to login every time even if i'm already login to the main portal!
Also, I'm using OTP auth, i need to type code manually, if i click anywhere then i'll lose the current session!

Extension safety
Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk
impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of
damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your
personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they
do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.
Password Manager Pro requires some sensitive permissions that could impact your browser and data security. Exercise caution before installing.

Risk likelihood
Risk likelihood measures the probability that a Chrome extension may turn malicious.
This is determined by the publisher and the Chrome extension reputation on
Chrome Web Store, the amount of time the Chrome extension has been
around, and other signals about the
Chrome extension. Our algorithms are not perfect, and are subject to change
as we discover new ways to detect malicious extensions. We recommend that you always
exercise caution when installing a Chrome extension.
Password Manager Pro is probably trust-worthy. Prefer other publishers if available. Exercise caution when installing this extension.
