What is Password Manager?
Password Manager is a Chrome extension designed to connect with your self-hosted password manager instance from github.com/zeruniverse/Password-Manager. It provides the convenience of directly inserting stored usernames and passwords into login forms on websites, ensuring both efficiency and security. Doesn’t share data with third parties unless you choose to use the context menu entry, it also runs on both HTTP or HTTPS depending on the settings of your password manager instance. The local copy of your data will be automatically deleted after a set timeout or when you log out from your password manager.

Summary

This addon works together with your selfhosted instance of the password manager available on https://github.com/zeruniverse/Password-Manager. The addon allows you to directly insert usernames and passwords stored in your password manager into logon forms.

How this addon handles your data: Data handling

When you login to your password manager instance this addon will create a local copy of your account (containing all passwords) using http or https depending on your password manager instance(please enforce https!). The local copy of your data will be deleted after the timeout set in the addons options expires or you logout of your password manager.

Your usernames and passwords will be entered on third-party websites when you choose to use the context menu entry. Otherwise your data won't be shared to third parties.
