So long I wandered in darkness till I found you
My tabs are freshly modified
Labeled well and organized....
Oh had I found you earlier, you little time and sanity saver....
Used to be a 4/4.5 star a year ago, now only a 2. :( I have been using this extension for over year now and have loved it. Especially when the icons stuck when adding to another extension/app (Toby) for my tab management so they were easily identifiable by the icon alone.
In the last couple weeks - I'm thinking since the last update, but maybe even as far back as when Chrome released groups for tabs, it's not retraining the title or the icon. It isn't always consistent, but definitely if I exit the browser or have to restart it for an update. Also when Google pauses a tab for inactivity to save bandwidth, it will also revert the title and the icons.
I tried just this past week to use it's group feature vs Googles native option and it does not work at all. If I click on a tab in the group it pulls it out of the group and if I try to re-add it or move it to a new group, it duplicates the group or just pulls it back out again. I actually can't even use google's native option with tab modifier now. Not sure which one is having the glitch...
So while this was a 4 start app a year ago - only 4 cuz there are not enough icon options without having to use an outside source which I couldn't figure out or at least couldn't get it to work, it has now dropped to a 2. No point if there is no functionality of changes sticking. It no longer keeps the title, the icon and for probably 9-10 months stopped keeping the name and icon when adding it to Toby.
